Albert Neumann’s consulting specialism is in corporate development with a focus on innovation and product development. He also works on projects concerned with turnaround management and the optimisation of international corporate organisations.
Albert Neumann has over 20 years of experience in industry and consulting. After his start as a management consultant at IBM, he worked at the strategy consultancy Booz Allen Hamilton (now strategy&) and then was director central Europe for Ricardo Strategic Consulting between 2006 and 2010. In 2010, Albert Neumann founded Strategy Engineers.
Albert Neumann graduated from the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen with a PhD and has an executive MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Frank Hegenbart is Partner in our Munich office. With more than 20 years of professional experience in industry and consulting he is specialized in operations strategy, supply chain and procurement. His clients are global players and mid-size companies from high-tech electronics and semiconductor to heavy industries, such as commercial and special vehicles.
Frank started his industrial career with Siemens in Germany, Asia, North and Latin America. From 2006 on he worked as consultant and principal for Management Engineers focusing on operations and supply chain excellence. Frank joined Strategy Engineers as a partner in 2015.
Frank holds a Master degree in industrial engineering specializing in transportation, logistics and material handling technology from the Technical University of Dresden.

Martin Kieckebusch specialises in consulting on product optimisation and technology strategies. In particular, he advises companies in many industries on holistic product cost optimisation.
Martin has over 18 years of experience in industry and consulting. After completing a dissertation in cost management at Wilhelm Karmann GmbH in Osnabrück, he began his career at Porsche AG in vehicle development. From there he moved to convertible hood manufacturer CTS, a Porsche and Mercedes-Benz joint venture. In this role he held management positions in procurement and project management in Germany, the USA and Belgium. Since 2007, Martin has worked as a management consultant at Mercedes-Benz Technology Consulting, and Ricardo Strategic Consulting. He co-founded Strategy Engineers in 2011.
Martin learned about the automotive industry at BMW AG and studied vehicle technology and aerospace construction in Hamburg. As a trainee, he was deeply involved in innovation management and at Porsche AG, he was part of an international elite team. He also holds additional qualifications in value analysis and purchase price analysis, and trained as an improvement manager.

Christian Koehler is partner at Strategy Engineers and responsible for our business in Asia. His consultancy specialism is in technology strategy and product development projects. He also has a focus on the automotive supplier industry.
Christian has over 22 years of experience in industry and consulting. After starting his career at Daimler Industries in 1991, he also held roles at AEG and ADTranz, among others. He spent 1995 in Japan attending a European Union training programme. After his return to Europe in 1996, he began his consultancy career, including time spent at Diebold, Booz Allen Hamilton (now Strategy&) and Ricardo Strategic Consulting. Between 2006 and 2011 Christian lived and worked in Shanghai, China. He has been part of the Strategy Engineers founding team since 2012.
Christian graduated from the University of Kaiserslautern with a degree in industrial engineering, and he is also a trained value analyst.
Dr. Oliver Spreitzer

Oliver Spreitzer’s consultancy specialisms are corporate and growth strategies, sales and after-sales, as well as R&D and logistics. From an industry perspective, Oliver is responsible for high-tech companies such as mechanical and plant construction firms.
Oliver has over 20 years of experience in industry and consulting. After starting his career at management consultancy Booz Allen Hamilton (now Strategy&), he built his management experience as CEO of the start-up VitaGO, which generated financing of €48 million, and then as Head of the Services Business at Tenovis (formerly Bosch Telecom), and as a board member at freenet AG. Oliver has been part of the Strategy Engineers founding team since 2011.
Oliver graduated from the University of Karlsruhe with a degree in industrial engineering and has a PhD from the Institute for Technology Management from the University of St. Gallen.

Cheng Xie specialises in consulting on corporate development and product development. He focuses on China helping our clients to define a winning strategy for the Chinese market as well as supporting local businesses going global.
Cheng Xie has over 14 years of experience in industry and consulting. He started his career at Volkswagen Automotive Shanghai as a manufacturing engineer. In 2006 he joined General Motors (China) and held various positions in manufacturing and project management. After that he joined Management Engineers as a management consultant. Since 2014, Cheng Xie is working at Strategy Engineers. In 2018 he has become the leader of the team in China as well as a member of the management team.
Cheng Xie received his bachelor degree and master degree from the Harbin Institute of Technology, one of the most renowned universities in the North of China. He learned about the automotive industry and the industry’s best practices in almost all his functions.
